Concentration was given to fixing
developable potential along the main stem and tributaries and along main stem only of other rivers. The result
was the outlining of the most economic means of exploiting hydropower which will
particularly lead to change in life styles of rural people who produce
the bulk of the Region's earnings. The identified projects
are such that they are distributed well over the two regions and the
transmission would cover and link the villages, blocks, district and
eventually regions as a whole.
